Westcare Medical Centre was nominated and honoured for being among best GP Training practices in WA from Western Australian General Practice Education and Training, at the annual gala dinner on Friday 19th November, 2021.

Dr Khanna and his team are very proud to have been nominated and awarded for this honour. Dr Khanna is passionate about being a supervisor for GP Registrars and transitioning them into general practice as they are the future for new GP's entering into general practice.

Pfizer Vaccines for 5-11 year old, and 12 and over are available at Westcare Medical Centre

Novavax Vaccines are available for eligible Medicare Card Holders for persons over 18 years of age and as a second dose even if you have received a different first dose.

Westcare Medical Centre has commenced the rollout of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccination program.

As per the government’s guidelines, children aged between 5-11 years old are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine for 1^st and 2^nd dose.

Appointments for both of these vaccination clinics are available to book directly through HealthEngine at www.healthengine.com.au or by calling us on 6186-6890.

Pfizer Vaccines Available at Westcare Medical Centre

For eligible Medicare Card Holders

Westcare Medical Centre has commenced the rollout of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination program.

As per the government’s guidelines and the vaccination program, those eligible who have a valid Medicare Card, and are over the age of 12 years will be eligible to receive the vaccine through our clinic.

Our Pfizer vaccine clinic will be open on Monday to Friday with an appointment necessary.

AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccinations are available on Wednesday afternoons.

The dedicated team at Westcare Medical Centre Thornlie pride themselves on being totally patient focused. Your health matters to us and keeping you as healthy as possible with you leading your care is our main goal.

Our highly skilled clinical and our on-site allied health professionals, including Dietician, Psychologist and Chiropractor ensure that the best possible treatments are available for you and your family.

Our Registered Nurse is available on all weekdays and Sunday to carry out immunisations, cervical screenings, care plans, amongst many other services.

Our Nurse is currently running Heart Health Clinics for persons over the age of 45 in order to help our community minimise risks of heart failure/disease.

Dr Gautam Khanna, our principal doctor is a skilled GP in all areas of the practice with special expertise in Ear, Nose and Throat complaints, which is accompanied by specialised equipment for more complex procedures.

From the moment you walk in to the moment when you walk out our aim to ensure the highest quality service is delivered from the reception staff to our clinical and allied health staff.

Having onsite pathology collection facility also enables patients requiring pathology tests are able to have this completed “in house” without having to travel elsewhere to find a collection centre.
